Legal
Terms of Service.
These terms govern your use of dnblackbook.com and any product or service offered through it, including the waitlist, the founders lock-in payment, and (once launched) the DNBlackBook course itself. By using the site or by submitting a waitlist signup or founders lock-in payment, you agree to these terms.
1. Who we are
DNBlackBook is operated by Trilot LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. We operate from Amman, Jordan. References below to "we", "us", or "DNBlackBook" mean Trilot LLC.
2. The waitlist
Joining the waitlist is free and creates no commercial obligation on either side. You give us a first name and an email address; we email you when the course opens. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee you a place in the course, a price discount, or anything other than a launch notification.
3. The founders lock-in
The founders lock-in is a $50 USD refundable deposit paid through Stripe at the time of reservation. The deposit reserves a founders seat in the course at the founders price, which is currently set at $297 USD versus a public launch price of $497 USD. Both prices are stated in USD and may be adjusted; if we change the founders price for any reason, we will honour the price you reserved at when you placed your deposit.
The $50 deposit is treated as follows:
- If you proceed to purchase the course at launch, the $50 is credited against the founders price. You pay the remaining $247 at that time.
- If you decide not to proceed, you may request a refund at any time before the public launch date by emailing hello@dnblackbook.com. We refund the full $50 to the original payment method, typically within 5 to 10 business days. We do not require a reason and we do not ask follow-up questions.
- After the public launch date, the deposit is no longer refundable as a standalone amount, but you retain the $50 credit if you choose to purchase the course at the founders price within 30 days of launch. After that 30-day window, the founders price offer expires and the deposit is treated as forfeited.
The founders lock-in is a one-time, single-seat reservation. It is not a subscription. It does not auto-renew.
4. The course (once launched)
When the course launches:
- Founders lock-in customers will receive course access at the founders price after paying the remaining balance.
- Public customers will receive course access after paying the launch price.
- Course access is personal and non-transferable. One paid seat = one user. Sharing course materials, login credentials, or downloadable files with anyone outside your immediate access is a material breach of these terms and may result in revocation of access without refund.
- Course materials are provided as a perpetual licence to access for as long as the platform hosting them is operational. We do not commit to running the platform indefinitely, but we commit to providing reasonable notice (at least 90 days) if we ever decide to retire it.
- A standard 14-day refund window applies from the date of course purchase. If you are not satisfied within those 14 days, email us for a full refund. After 14 days, no refunds on the course itself.
5. Intellectual property
All course materials — written content, video, audio, diagrams, downloadable files, and the working systems described — are the intellectual property of Trilot LLC and are protected under applicable copyright law. You may use them for your own personal study and reference. You may not redistribute, republish, sell, or use them as training data for any AI model, system, or tool. You may quote brief excerpts in good faith for review or commentary purposes.
6. Acceptable use
Don't try to break the site. Don't try to bypass the paywall. Don't share access credentials. Don't use the comments or community features (where they exist) to harass other members or post abusive content. We reserve the right to revoke access for material breaches without refund.
7. No financial or investment advice
DNBlackBook is an educational product. It teaches frameworks and patterns drawn from the founder's three decades of experience in domain investing. It does not constitute financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Domain investing involves real financial risk. You may lose money. We make no guarantees about income, profit, or returns. See the Disclaimer for fuller language.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to your use of the site, the waitlist, the founders lock-in, or the course is limited to the total amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits or lost business opportunities.
9. Termination
You can terminate your relationship with us at any time by unsubscribing from the waitlist, requesting deletion of your data, or (for founders lock-in customers) requesting a refund. We can terminate access if you materially breach these terms.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent material update. If a change affects rights you have already paid for (founders lock-in customers, course customers), we will email you before the change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, except that we reserve the right to seek interim or injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident in a jurisdiction whose law gives you mandatory rights that cannot be waived by contract, those rights apply notwithstanding this clause.
