Legal
Cookie Policy.
This page describes the cookies and similar technologies used on dnblackbook.com. We've kept the use of cookies deliberately minimal. There is no advertising tracking on this site.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. Some are essential for the site to function. Others record information about how you use the site so the operator can improve it. Some are placed by third parties — services the site uses, like a payment processor or an email tool.
Cookies we set directly
DNBlackBook itself sets no cookies of its own for marketing, analytics, or personalisation purposes at the time of writing. The site is a static HTML page hosted on Cloudflare Pages, and we have not added any tracking or analytics scripts.
If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and, where required by your local law, request your consent before activating it.
Cookies set by third parties we use
Even though we do not set our own cookies, three third parties we use may set cookies in certain situations:
- Cloudflare (hosting and security) may set strictly necessary cookies to protect the site from abuse, identify malicious traffic, and maintain a secure connection. These cookies do not track you across sites and are required for the site to function.
- Stripe (payment processing) sets cookies on its own checkout pages when you click through to pay the founders lock-in deposit. These cookies are governed by Stripe's privacy and cookie policies — published at stripe.com — and are necessary for fraud prevention and payment processing.
- MailerLite (mailing list infrastructure) does not set cookies on dnblackbook.com because the waitlist form posts directly to our own server endpoint. If you click an unsubscribe link in one of our emails, MailerLite may set a cookie on its own page to manage your preference; that cookie is governed by MailerLite's policy.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies at any time using your browser settings. Most browsers let you block all cookies by default and add specific sites to an allow-list. If you block cookies entirely, parts of the site that rely on Cloudflare's security cookies — and the Stripe payment flow if you choose to make a payment — may not function correctly.
Updates to this policy
If we add new tools that set cookies, we will update this page and, where required, prompt you for consent on first visit after the change.
